What does the past have to say about how we minister with children? This session will explore that question in light of current ministry practices. It will be a “fly-over” of four centuries of contributions of key educators before landing on the impact that 21st-century findings in neuroscience has on our understanding of children. Some remarkable people have made some amazing contributions over these centuries, and we are privileged to stand on their shoulders. So, where do we go from here? There will be opportunities to explore how, following their examples, we might lead into the future.
